From parking areas to handicap accessible restrooms to beach accesses that include 'Mobi-Mats', these enhancements allow everyone the opportunity to enjoy our park. Friends supports all accessibility additions by the state and contributes to them as we are able.
ALL TERRAIN WHEELCHAIRS
The Friends has helped the Park become more ADA compliant. Hunting Island Campground received this all terrain wheelchair donated by the Friends of Hunting Island. With the newly completed handicap-equipped restroom and the installed mobi-mat, handicapped visitors will be able to enjoy camping and the beauty of Hunting Island beaches.
